## Orientation

*An Ultima\-authored guide to starting a tangent\, finding it again\, changing its direction\, continuing it\, and stopping the right thing\.*

This workbook is for operating Oh My Pi through its terminal interface and through Main\. It emphasizes the moment **after a tan has started**\, when knowing the current target matters more than remembering a command\.

**Scope\:** this describes a **custom local OMP source snapshot from 29 August 2026**\. The installed CLI reported `omp/18.0.7`\; that version number does **not** establish upstream\-release parity or prove that an installed binary matches these sources\.

All **Lantern Library** examples below are fictional teaching fixtures—not observed user conversations\, files\, or work\. Expected observations are checks to make in your own session\, not claims that the examples have been executed there\.
