A reader and fictional lab, not an OMP client
This static site presents the Memory, Tan, Extensions, and Session Continuity chapters, example source files, and a fictional Memory simulator. It does not connect to OMP, inspect your machine, read transcripts or real memory stores, run tools, or request credentials. No site action resumes, forks, resets, exports, or shares a real session.
The reading scripts load the local static /book-data.js module for authored chapters, navigation, search, example stories, and the browser contract. The Memory lab carries its own simulator. Neither is an application backend or a live OMP connection. There is no account login, payment form, feedback form, advertising integration, or analytics feature implemented by the workbook.
Two separate local-storage keys
- Unified reading pages:
omp-workbook-checklist-v1records self-reported lesson flags. The workbook checklist reset removes only this key. - Memory lab only:
omp-memory-workbook:checklist:v1records four tutorial lesson flags and the last local observation. It remains separate from the unified checklist. Lab reset controls affect only the lab's fictional/tutorial state, not real memories or the workbook checklist.
These browser records belong to this origin. Neither is a completion certificate, evidence that an OMP operation succeeded, or a synchronized account. Clearing one tutorial key does not clear the other, unrelated storage, transcripts, or OMP state. You can remove all data for this origin through browser settings.
If storage is unavailable or rejects a write, use the interface's reported storage result; a changed visible flag does not prove persistence. Private browsing, cleared site data, origin changes, and browser settings may remove or isolate saved state.
Interface scope and temporary state
window.ompWorkbook v1 exists on unified reading pages only, with tutorial-only scope. It queries authored chapter text and operates registered reading controls. Current story stages and document-specific opaque revisions are reading state. A revision from another document or reload cannot authorize a new action. Published content revision omp-workbook-2026-08-30.1 identifies the edition, not an action token.
The Memory lab instead exposes window.memoryTutorial v1 over its fictional simulator and local lesson state. It does not expose window.ompWorkbook; the unified reader does not expose window.memoryTutorial. Its stories, simulated memory entries, and observations are fictional, not data from a real user's memories. Use live discovery on that page for its own IDs and revision rules. The lab Markdown companion describes it without running the simulation.
Support pages and Markdown expose neither browser interface. No interface provides REST/MCP access, cloud synchronization, real session operations, filesystem access, credentials, terminal access, or an upload endpoint. Navigation is a request to another document, not proof that it loaded.
Downloads and source views
The combined archive, Extensions archive, Continuity archive, and Permissions fixtures archive are static downloads. Source URLs under /examples/ are inert text views. Reading or downloading does not install or execute code, export sessions, or grant local permissions. If you later choose to run an example, that separate authorized action is governed by its actual code and your environment. Inspect its code and historical caveats first.
Review any local export before sharing it. This site neither receives it nor certifies it as safe. Original source-workbook archives, proof files, private inference transcripts, hidden publication state, and credentials are not public assets.
Ordinary web delivery
Your browser makes ordinary HTTP requests for pages, scripts, static book data, styles, fonts, and downloads. Hosting providers may process IP addresses, user agents, request times, and other request metadata under their own policies. The workbook does not claim to disable infrastructure logging or control retention.
External links lead to separate policies. See about and provenance and redacted correction reports.
